Default 1984 low rider tach 7 trip repair

looking to find somebody to repair my tach and trip meter. its on a 1984 lowrider. some place near the charlotte n.c area would be nice, but I will take anywhere. would like to keep the original. thanks

I know a couple of shops here in charlotte that deal with old stuff... but not sure if the have any experience on speedos

speedo repairs cost in the hundreds my guess 3 to 5 would be a good guess

i had a 46 Indian chief re done it was 850 - sold a used 1952 fo 650

re did a 55 servi car and it was 625 -- just to give you an idea as it does not matter what year or type its all about the time to do it - time and material job

If it is just a broken cable on the trip meter you can do it yourself. It is only held on by a pin you can drive out and replace the assembly. It would be cheaper to find a replacement tachometer rather then repair it.
