Converting an 81 FLT to a Road King, picture heavy

Shortened the rod for the rear brake since I moved the master cylinder forward to clear the trans. Put the motor in for mock up for the last time. Goes in for good tomorrow.
Picked up a new brake line, ordered front brakes and molex connectors to plug in the hand controls to the Road King harness. Getting down to the small list
Primary
Front wheel and brakes
Run wiring harness
Exhaust
Oils
Handlebars

got a lot done over the last few days, even though it doesn't look like much. most of it was very time consuming just figuring out how to solve problems.
got the rear brake finished up and working.
had an issue with the 1990 primary. it used to have a bolt that went from underneath, through the trans case and tightened into the primary. but the 97 trans has the oil pan in the way and they redesigned it to bolt front the primary side into the trans. fortunately the pattern stayed the same and i was able to drill the old hole all the way through. put the clutch basket in and the bolt head clears with plenty of room from the chain.
then while checking the front wheel fitment i noticed that the tire was dry rotted on the sidewall. it's a 2012 street glide wheel with 900 miles. fortunately after calling Dunlop, a new tire is on the way under warranty. I didn't even buy it new, but they have a 4 year warranty for weathering.
Napa had an easy fix for those flimsy shock air lines that always leak. now it won't be an issue
found the 90 degree fitting i needed to fix the oil feed line setup. oil lines are all done minus the return to the filter. still have to fab a bracket to hold the filter up front.
and the motor is in finally wit the heads bolted down, ready to go. also received the Mikuni adapter from Vulcan. just need that throttle wheel kit from Chopprs. have a few other things coming in this week. hopefully riding it by the end of april is a realistic goal. Wife and son comes back tomorrow, so won't have as much time to work on it.
