cam bearing question
I just used a Jims tool to pull the INA caged bearing out of my 77 FX lower end. No scuffs in the journal, looked fine. I set up the cases on my press and the new B-138 Koyo went in with about ZERO effort or force. It is not tight at all....bought another one...same thing. I've pressed in about 200 ironhead torringtons and they are never went in without resistance...how tight do these fit in shovels??? I do not have another set of cases to measure the journal but I think it is about a .004 tight press fit. I have no experience with shovels so the "feel" of the fit is new to me.
Should have left that damn INA alone.....

the shovel is not as tight as the iron head - if you are stressing about the light fit
you could use a dab of red lock tite -
in extream cases a sharp pick to peck the the surface almost like knurling the surface of a shaft < but that is in the extream - put a few drops on red on it and forget it
