Are the clymer manuals good for details for the do it yourself type. Or are there better manuals out there thanks for any info.

 

they work - info is your friend - the factory book as stuff the after market book does not and the aftermarket book has stuff the factory also does not have - not a lot but different ways of doing stuff

if you are first timing it buy both used lots of them around - parts the factory is the only one i know works

I would like to thank both of you for the info. This bike is becoming a learning lesson for me. The previous owner did not "love" the bike like I felt a person should. Now that I got my new paint job and done some other things to it to make it mine. I'm starting to fall in love with this machine.
