hope this helps link to oil cooler thread one to avoid this was from my personal experience the welds leaked. got the first one replaced 2nd one leaked in the same place so just welded it. this was on my Twin cam.
whatever one you get -- better make sure it doesn't have any blast media left in the inside -- seen many of them with a huge "puff" of sand come out of a NEW cooler..
Your part of the world you don't need one honestly , oil coolers are a benefit only if the bikes in temps over 95F regular . Unless your trying to increase the oil capacity don't waste the money .
Ran a Lockhart since new on this. Rigth in front of the front rocker box. I used the original HD cover it came with for when temps are cool. That was my thermostat. IMHO it was good medicine on those long hot days.
