Hello, searching the forums I've pinpointed that a wide glide would be
the best model for me being i'm 6'5/36" inseam 220lbs.

Forward Controls, Mustang seat, apes would help me fit the bike better...

My question is through my searching, most of the information references the dyna model wide glides...

Did the dimensions change much between the bikes? There's been some decent deals on shovels in the paper and that's why I'm wondering if I would still be well off on this bike?

I've also spotted some FLH's which look like a big bike, but I don't want to waste peoples time being that I have to purchase used, just to see how i feel on their bike...

any advice would be appreciated.

 

frames are all (almost) the same... if you get any 4 speed bike and put FW controls you should be good

 

im 6'4" 36" inseam and 280lbs

forward controls are +1" with floorboards handlebars stock location
mustang seat frame is a FXR

 

shovels have the same foward controls mounting platform as a FXST AND the FLST softails NOT THE DYNA - different bike every thing is different on a dyna -- so choices for a 4 speed shovel or a evo softail is mostly the same in foot controls -- jz
