Default timing plug

hi guys,
I have a 79 flh 80. want to time it, it has the chrome hex type timing plug.Anyone happen to know what size that is, my wrenches are to small for that plug. Thanks John.....Ride free

3/8 inch if its an allen head - they snap to loosen - watch your hands it wants to go counterclockwise to remove

The thread should be 5/8-18 and the hex wrench is 3/8. DO NOT tighten that plug too tight, it seems to get tighter in operation. And you do not want to strip those threads, it can be too damn easy to pull the threads out of the aluminum case.
