Searching on ebay and found this Frankenstein...advertized as a shovelhead...which I thought he had ms-labeled till I looked really close at the pic...cast iron jugs with EVO heads...ever seen one of these?

it has duel plugs really - and the drains go around the block to the left side - looking the the tops of the pushrods i would say its a re make of a shovel head to look like an evo

 

After doing a little more searching...I believe it is custom cast iron cylinders made to bolt on EVO heads..here is another set with twincam heads.

 

how bad an effect does nitrous have on a motor like this?

 

STD used to manufacture "Shovelution" heads.
You could bolt those on a Shovel, with the use of Evo tappets/blocks/cams, and a little machining.
We ran those castings on our 108" AHDRA Mod Class bike, with our dual carb set-up(pics in the gallery section of our site)to high 8's @ over 147 mph.

Well it seems that Axtell made the cylinders to do this mod ages ago...but was only popular in drag racing circles.
