Default Popping through carb

This 74 is not my first harley as I have a 65-iron head so I'm aware of some of the bugaboos these old rides can have and the aggravation in hunting down noises and odd issues that defy logic to us. I got the flh on the road and it starts every time with one roll hot or cold and pulls hard. I am running a new s&s super e. The motor is a brand new rebuild but it will sometimes pop though the carb if I ease the throttle ever so slightly off of idle. I have replaced all the gaskets, rubbers clamps etc. I have used propane and even acetylene to look for leaks around the intake and sealed the exhaust tight but every now and then it will do this. Plugs are a nice tan brown. Timing is good to.

Bored .030
New valve guides
8.5:1 pistons
Electronic ignition
New rings
New super E complete 70 main jet, 0.625 intermediate

Where do I go from hear.

acetylene - under no circumstances ever use that for or on a running harley or anything else for that matter - it gives off a big BOOM when it ignites and will take the air out of your lungs

.625 is incorrect > .265 is a jet and that is too lean reason for popping - try the .295 and most shovels like a 72 main but yours could be different
