lifter block MOD worth doing?

Default lifter block MOD worth doing?

I have an 84 EVO FLT I would imagine I have hydrolic lifters anyone of you do this and if so is it worth it? does it help in keeping oil from seeping out

Default lifter housing

I have hydrolic lifters I need all the pump up oil I can get so I wont do this

Back in the day I drilled out the oil return ports to help drain them better, never saw any difference. Best bet is the big blue silicon pushrod seal kits to stop the seeping.

Choking the ports off or plugging them was a mod for solids not hyd. lifters to help the mess that was caused by the cheap out of alignment solid lifters rubbing the pushrod tubes letting them leak.
