Anybody try installing these on a pre 1978 FLH? I read a comment on another forum that it can be done but I want to know if any of you guys know first hand.

 

The best thing to do is give Progressive a call. Their tech guys are good and I’m sure will know. I had questions regarding the monotube spacer set-up on my '03 Ultra, and they were very helpful.

As you may know, there were nitrogen leak concerns with some early version monotubes. I had purchased mine on eBay from a guy that never installed his. That production date proved to be borderline and Progressive replaced the units at no cost. No issues to report with the ones I now have.

 

Thanks run. The kit was only $75 so I went ahead and ordered it. I figured it's worth a shot for that. I will report back when I put it in.
