Default rocking nut/leak on rocker box shaft;

Why does only one rocker shaft leak on primary side of rocker box? It's a complete new top end kit from S&S I installed last year.

The nut rocks back and forth with rocker arm, hence the leak. It just started doing this about 3 weeks ago. 700 miles on the new top end with no problems till now. Any suggestions ?

The shaft should be stationary. Maybe the rocker arm bushing seized to the shaft?

The shaft comes right out, easily. Tried tightening even with red thread locker.
Very puzzled.

Maybe I can make this easier. The acorn nut on the primary side of the shaft along with the shaft rocks back and forth, left to right, right to left in time with the rocker arm causing oil to seep out. First thought is shaft is seized to the bushing as FilthyLucre suggested. Not the case as I've stated. Shaft slides right out as it's supposed to. No burrs or any damage to shaft as I can see. I'm trying to avoid taking rocker box off as it's not very easy, very little clearence to just remove rocker box. As it's apart and not running, a pic won't help'

Well, found out the problem. It seems a shim was added later on to stop the noise/chatter. It goes on before the spacer. It got worn and shifted on the shaft causing the leak. The mechanic at the local Harley dealer said I don't need them as they were used for just the noise issue. Can't say I agree as it caused the leak. Will be installing new shim when I get it.
