Default Replace rigid rear brake line with a braided one

Has anyone done that or know what kind of thread or fittings are needed to do that?

I thought of replacing the stock and ruined rigid steel line for a flexible braided line, but I don't know how what size of fittings would I need.

Does anyone know?

Thanks

Check out Russell Braided lines. Think J&P lists them in their catalog. They have X-refernces for year and model.

The solid lines don't flex when pressure is applied. It is better to run flex lines as short as possible.

I bought the goodridge universal braided lines. I found adapters for the brake light sensor and the master cylinder/wheel cylinder.

Cycleplicity had the beat prices if you go this route.

I got a roll of Russell SS oil line, 10' off eBay for 89 bucks. You can put shrink wrap on and cut it there. Then just use hose clamps over the shrink wrap that still shows and it makes for an inexpensive great look for your oil lines. I do have to admit the adapters that are made for the lines are really nice looking.
