Default '80 FLT done

here it is off the rack for the first time. starts quick, sounds awesome...this thing is heavy. still need to adjust the clutch and the front brakes since they both drag. next task to hassle a vin inspection with chp as it's from out of state and in boxes for 5 years and then run the gauntlet at dmv.

can't say how much I appreciate the help and advice given and found here. special thanks to john

the clutch cover lever wears and takes up adjustment space so let it walk back more than normal < hold it against the starter and then adjust the screw - than the cable - it helps with netural

the front brakes may need pistons and a rubber kit both are available at times - rubber kits all the time but only china but they work - the pistons are the same front and rear and are becoming harder to find - no oem stuff for them i have seen available

if you cant get something let me know i have 2 places that stock stuff

that turned out great, nice job. i gotta build that exhaust for mine one day. front pipe is killer
