Been quite a while, but I.....
Am back on the forum - in the Rushmore section with a '14 Limited I recently picked up.
Bought it "used", but it's only got 452 miles on it. Seriously. Score!
The ride - as I picked it up.
I'm not a fan of the floppy battery tender plug, and much like I did for my FXDWG, I ordered the Flange Mount Kit so i could make a solid mount. This kit plus a $12 inspection sticker plate fit the bill.
Because of my garage layout, I use the tender on the right side. I routed the (new) harness to the right side and used heat-shrink over the connection.
Got everything tied up and bolted in place. Now I can sleep at night.
Bolted on the S&S Power Tune dual head pipes with Rinehart 4" mufflers
HD Ventilator air cleaner which the breather is vented to Mother Nature
V&H FP3
Added a +0 SoftBrake pedal as the stock configuration was horrible.
The real gem of the day was adding all the light to the rear end.
- Bright *** Light laydown tail light
- Custom Dynamics Fillerz (run & brake only - no directionals)
- HD's Saddlebag lights
Overboard? Probably. Don't care - I like it. lol
Home - before I started with the lights & other mods.
(and knocked out the surface rust in the pipes)
Also added the Custom Dynamics Dynamic Ringz w/ smoked lenses & their fender tip in white light w/ smoked lens up front.
The Ringz appear to be solid white, but that's via a phone camera. They are a halo with amber center.
Now if I can get that lien release paperword from Eaglemark, I can title/register this beast and start riding it.....
(they said it takes them up to 14 days to process/send the lien release even though the loan has been paid off) huh?
Time to update the sig pic.

Thanks fellas. The battery tender flange mount was something I learned on this forum back in '07 or '08, so it's only fitting I bring that knowledge back where I got it.
I spend quite a bit of time reading & researching before pulling the trigger. For me, I wouldn't change a thing. I didn't connect the Fillerz to the turn sigs and love it as-is. The BAL is probably my favorite addition, but I'm glad I did all 3 back there.
