Default Biggest mistake ya ever made, audio related that is?!!?

I'll swallow my pride and get us rolling. Way back in the day when the RF PBR 300X4 was being talked about but were impossible to get, I got my hands on one, installed it, tuned it, loved it, then was doing final wire routing and hooked up the brand new low level outs on HK HU that I just got back from ICA, to the outs on the amp!!! Little funny squealing noise and everything went quiet. Thankfully ICA is AWESOME and had it back quickly.

^^ HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA^^ Now that's funny.

I'll share two:

1. Installing an amp in my bags I made way too small of a hole for all the cables. I got them all to fit in nice and snug and thought, perfect these won't rattle around. Well turns out the constant vibration of the bags, and them being so tight they cut into some wires and I shorted my amp. Oops.

2. I had an amp in the bag and I was setting gains so I only had the RCA's for the opposite bag plugged in so I could focus on listening to that bag. I had the all the way up blasting tunes and turning gains and HPF *****.....so one of the unplugged RCA barley touched the amp input for caused a loud static distortion sound. I blew a tweeter. Dammit.

Lessons learned.

HK head unit blew, did not send it to Iron Cross, I sold it as a core and bought a Sony with BT Kit. Didn't like the small buttons and hard to read display so I traded setup for an HK again. Then that one blew and again I didn't send it to ICA, sold it as a core and bought a kenwood with Metra Kit, so back to small buttons and display.

Should have sent the first HK out for repair, would have ended up costing less and I'd have the big buttons and easy to read display.

LMAO!! That was good G! I'd have to say buying 8 sets of polks before I finally tapped out and realized the polks had a problem at the time. Keep in mind this is way before the problems with the polks hit everyone else. And then there's this:

Worst system on the face of the earth.
