Default Dyna S Lounge: FXDL-S

So, since the other threads on this bike are getting a little off topic, I thought we should have a thread specifically for the Low Rider S (FXDLS).

Discuss mods, showoff pictures of your bike, whatever. Keep it limited to the FXDLS.

I will start. Bought my bike last week. Couldnt be happier with it. I wish it had a larger fairing and slightly taller risers for the handlebars, but otherwise, its a sweet ride.

The first think I am trying to do is replace all lights with LED. I am in the process of figuring our how to delete the front bullet style turn signals with the Harley LED signal mirrors. So far the dealership is saying that it cannot be done and I will be stuck with the stock lights... or the mirrors will not function properly as turn signals. I will post what I figure our.

Next project is replacing the rear bullet brake/running/turn signals with LED. I think I will be getting the Custom Dynamics LED inserts... but havent researched which ones.

As far as performance mods, I plan to add a Bassani Road Rage exhaust system.

Your thread is going to get really long once people start picking up their bikes.

As a former club-style Dyna owner and current Slim S owner, I know the potential of the FXDLS. People are going to live this bike.

A Sputhe or True Track stabilizer is the only necessary mod to make this bike handle as well as some of the heavily modded bikes in the club/thug thread.

The 110 doesn't have the power of the aftermarket 106/107 motors with high compression and aftermarket cam's, but it's still string. It must be fun as hell to ride.

I'm subscribing to this thread just to stay close to S-Series mods.

You're just waiting for me to flop back in this direction vs the 107 build, aren't you?

Just picked mine up yesterday. First Harley. So far, so good. Will the front brake get stronger as it beds in or should I look for better pads? (sorry, no quality pics yet)
