Default How to destroy a beautiful heritage (step by step)

Ok I won't be starting this one until I finish the train but I'm bored and thought I'd kick the thread off and throw some teaser pics of parts up and keep you all guessing what I'm going to do with this one

Yes it's a beautiful bike. I bought it with the intent to build something I already planned out. This bike came up for a great price. Came with a 110 cube full polished crate motor and fully polished crate tranny. The frame is in good nick for its age but it's not perfect and that's exactly what I wanted. It's got a lot of parts I can make good money off to fund the new build. So to me, this was a perfect starting point

It is indeed Matte, this one will cause some controversy for sure.

Couple of pieces to the puzzle...the center skull on the seat is not staying. This thing is going to be one cool sled!

Looking at your seat choices I can see you don't cherish your rear end. I am sure this will be a sweet build. But let's not take 10 years so I can live to see the end

Haha fatt11 I have no idea man

Stal94gt I was waiting for a smart **** to say that! Haha. Won't be opening the motor on this one or going a wide rear conversion, and I'll be stock piling all the parts first before starting, try get everything as close to ready as possible before tearing into it, as compared to the train having the starter **** itself starting the build early. Half the parts didn't arrive until many months later

Oh and as for the seat, I'll throw a towel on it for long hauls lol

To me it's a great idea, for others it may not be. But I like building stuff I dig, no matter what anyone else thinks. Because if we let others dictate our own thoughts, then we just end up with what everyone else has. Hence the title of this thread, it makes it clear I'm going to be doing what people won't like th see me do to this beautiful bike

Axle I don't plan to improve on this bike, I plan to completely change it. It will resemble nothing of what you see now. It's beautiful now, but I want to make something rad out of it
