Butt still hurts
Ok so I put a wide Mustang seat on my 2012 Electra Glide Ultra Classic for more comfort for me and my wife and went 207 miles yesterday and both of are ***'s hurt when done so now what do we do ice them????

Put another 300 miles on it. They usually say it takes 500 miles to break them in. Just don't do it in one shot - do 20 - 50 miles at a time and work your way up. Give your butts some 'break-in time' also...

Seats don't break in, your body gets used to it.
If I am wrong, then why does the "broken in" seat feel hard as a rock after a winter of not riding?

We just got the wooden bead seat covers for our ultra. While it don't help with the softness obviously it does make an enormous difference with the air flow under your butt. I will never go on a long ride without it again. $19 off amazon for front and back.

I've got a Mustang seat sitting in my shop that I replaced with a Harley Hammock on my 14 Limited. That seat was terrible. It killed my wife and I.

Sore butt could be due to a medical problem...like obesity, blood circulation, muscle tone and bone structure.
