Default few pictures of the ever evolving FXD

Just looking back through pictures of my main bike and she has definately changed!
This is the day i picked her up:

First time under the knife- fxdb tank, fxdb spokes, shaved rear fender, lowered all the way around, different exhaust, seat, fatbob bars and risers, powdered legs and trees, And paint. Pretty big change

As of now i put a fld rear fender ( shaved of course) and bags. Soon to get a fatboy front end as soon as it comes back from powder. Love it or hate it i just like change and its cheaper to keeper instead of buying a new bike!

You forgot to mention the money you are saving on therapy sessions. Spending time in your man cave transitioning your ideas to reality is perhaps the best use of one's leisure time. You are a psychologists nightmare. The bike is awesome!

Looking good. Can't wait to see the softail front on it. When I did mine I had to remove .27" from the underside of the top tree. Also removed the steering stops from the steering neck and ground the top of the neck flat. The lower trees required grinding on the steering stops as well.
Lots of info in here if you need https://www.hdforums.com/forum/group...est-group.html
Be sure and post pics!

Thanks all, i ended up getting a call from a buddy who has a fld front end for pretty cheap $
Decisions decisions! I know i will be running a 21" wheel and dont see too many options in the fat spokes for an fld front end. Where theres a will theres a way but it seems like a softy wheel would work? Or maybe wide glide?

Nice...

I'm going through this with my SB. Trying to decide if I want to go club route, or big front tire conversion as I've seen on the forum....too many options. I was thinking the same thing in regards to buying a new bike. I'll just tinker with Amber in the garage instead...well done.

I like how it sits with the stock front end and those hard bags. Great work!

Nice work, really like how the grey motors 'pop' on black bikes.
