Default Missing Hardware?

At 2200 miles, just now I noticed this missing hardware on my M8 during cleaning. Is there anything to worry about?

Missing hardware is at front cylinder top mount right hand side.

This is the left side top mount

Not good....take it over to your dealer and point it out and have em fix it. It had to not be there in the first place or cracked and came off.

While it sucks to see it like that there is nothing missing. The bolt has backed out and is hitting the frame rail as you can see the rub mark. Call your dealer and talk with them but I would grab a wrench and tighten it back up again be fore I rode it anywhere. It's a 9/16" size as I have had mine in and out swapping cams around several times.

You've swapped cams several times in your M8 already?

Wow. That would tick me off. I would be all over my Dealer. They should have caught that. Maybe it cracked off, but that's hard to believe in 2,200 miles.
Keep us updated. Good luck.

That is the reason why the dealer needs to do the first service - to fix everything that goes wrong.

Looks to me like theres a nice chunk of metal missing off that engine....looks like more than a bolt tightening to me.

The photo is deceptive ... Compared it to mine this morning and it looks like the bolt just needs to be tightened:

Its part of the development process. So far have run and tuned a few prototype designs, the SE8-447, SE8-462, SE8-498 and the 114 conversion kit. Next on the list is the 117 crank kit and a few more development parts.
