Default Anyone put the '17 front suspension on 15 Rushmore bike?

I've read that the front suspension of the new Milwaukee 8 front suspension is very good. My '15 Ultra has terrible front end feel and plows a lot, especially when riding 2-up. I've also read that the '17 front suspension will work on the 14-16 Rushmore bikes with no modification.
Has anyone done this? Put the '17 suspension on a 15 bike?
Thanks

If you are going to tear down the front end why not just go with a lot better suspension?
Do it once and be done with it. I've got the Legend Axeos on my 15 Ultra and love them. Others have used Progressives and had good results.

I simply had progressive springs added, and it made a huge difference. Smoother ride. Better dir ctiinsl control.

Are these just the drop in progressive springs? No other mods need to the tubes?

so you're saying if I went with the '17 OEM suspension, I'd wind up not liking them and getting something else? Does the Axeos require any other mods to the tubes?
Thanks

Just swap out the HD guts for the $750 Legend AXEO cartridges, set preload, add oil and reinstall on bike.
Or just get thicker 15W oil changed into your stock forks and ride it.

Here's the AXEO link:

The suspension on the '17s is awesome, much better than my '16. I'm sure you would like it. Bottom line is compare the price of swapping the internals from Harley or the aftermarket one and see what the cost difference would be. You can get the OEM Harley stuff from a discount dealer.

I've done this install several time, and am getting ready to do it again on my 2016. It's very straight forward and easy to do with a few, easily obtainable & affordable tools. Got mine from DCP for less than MSRP.

Can you recommend a tutorial or video showing the work? I've done it on metric bikes but not on harley.
Thanks

A friend of mine did this just last week on a Ultra Low. He made the mistake of riding a 17 Limited Low and thought the ride was much better than his 15 Ultra Low. Had to wait for parts but besides the internals, he also needed to replace the fork tubes. He loves the way it rides but the cost was just north of 8 bills. Work was done by a HD dealer.
