Default Aftermarket double DIN for 2014 up

Is there any aftermarket options for 2 DIN headunit for 2014 bikes yet? Lots of rumors over time but nothing has ever materialized. Surely there is a market for them?

The GB unit did not ship with a water proof cover. So unless you come up with a waterproof solution on your own or the first rain could be very costly.

The Biketronics replacement HU is more than just rumor. And yes the BT unit will have a waterproof cover and will be plug & play.

Lots of people have done the double DIN swap, it just depends how involved you want to get with it.

I've seen one with a waterproof splash cover but it was a one off as far as I know.

I've talked to BT a couple of times about theirs and it will be pretty damn cool but pricey. I'm hoping that their install kit will be available separately because it sounds like it will protect the head unit VERY well.

I continue to hear about a major brand releasing something by the end of the year, not sure if it's marine grade though but I was told it was specifically for the motorcycle environment.

I just read an article about how much the motorsport market has increased and that these vendors are paying attention to what we want (lots of expendable income which they all droll over getting a piece of).

I bet this winter there will be some new stuff for us to grab up

Concur with Bunker.

BT is finalizing a couple things and rain cover functionality is rumored to be one of their final touches. I would also expect BT to have a few folks road test / beta test this product for a short period of time as well. Xmas might be the target but totally a guess. BT will not commit to a date as it will be ready when it's damn ready!!!

For the road glides, there is a guy making covers for the double din units. Looks good. Functions excellent. Have his cover on mine since March, no water problems.

Shimmy. He's got a YouTube page with his cover and his contact info. Good design and functions great.
