Default Battery Tender Plug in

Bike was in the shop just recently, and today I went to plug in my battery tender I couldn't find the plug which I'm sure used to come out in front of the side cover on the left side, now they routed it back along the frame to just above the saddle bag on the left side. If someone could post picture or let me know how their cord is routed, or let me know the correct path to take in routing it, I would greatly appreciate it.
Thanks Jonnierock

You can route it any way you'd like. Mine has always been routed like you describe, back along the frame.

From the factory, the Rushmore bikes just have it bundled up inside the side cover.
Each dealer will then route it (or not) however they want before delivery.

Mine is routed back along the frame like that also.

I have a '16 flhxs. There is a factory one behind the left side cover tucked in a holder. It is pictured in the owners manual. I also have a dealer installed one that comes out on the right side between the side cover and saddlebag. It was just dangling out in the open when I got the bike home so I rerouted it so it is a little more discreet. I can still access it without removing anything.

I like the idea of Routing it up between the seat where the rider backrest goes, this prevents the plug from rubbing on your saddle bag and leaving marks. Also makes it easy for heated clothing.

Gotta love it when a "wanna have" part picture is posted with no other information.

He has posted it before.
A quick search will bring it up.

He posted in this Battery Tender Relocation thread (Post #13):
