Welcome and check the connections to see if they are correct.

Sorry meant to say bike seems to be stuck in security mode. Security light flashing, turn switch to acc and mileage flashes on screen, then to on position and nothing..When I turn the switch back to the off position, i hear some "clicking". What the heck is wrong?

Put new batteries in the fob(s).

Also, when disconnecting the bike's battery (when you added tender lead) it is recommended to disarm the security first - with fob present turn ignition to on (this disarms the system as it will poll for the fob (look for) and if finds it, it will disarm. then with ignition still on, remove (-) cable. Turn ignition back to off before hooking back up.

Are these the proximity type fobs or is it a push button type? If it's the push button type, it's two pushes of the fob button to turn the security off and let the bike start.
