This morning it was 30deg. My 45min commute to work was a little cold on the hands. I've tried several glove combinations with no real pay off. Without heated grips or several feet of cords with heated gloves what are some tips and tricks to keeping those digits warm?
Heared Grip (huge difference) & HD Gaunlet style. If its that cold throw a handwarmer in each glove behind your hand. Still not satisfied, get electric gloves.

heated grips will come with new bars eventually.
Ill be picking up some hand warmers today. Wasn't prepared this morning.
if your intent is to commute by bike year round in the winter wind guards and hippo hands will make a major improvement in your life. Especially if you add a heat source under the hippo hands. It doesn't look cool but when you have to ride in 17 degree weather it makes it doable rather than miserable and possibly dangerous.
I've never had a faring or windshield...except for my car...or heated grips but I bought some heated glove liners a few years ago. They're thin but really kept my fingers warm. Sadly, in the 3 years I've had them, I've used them twice.
FYI I have heated grips and even with the high dollar thinsulate gloves with the space blanket style inner liner my hands can get cold, getting the wind off them is a big improvement. I'm looking a set of Oxford Rain Seal Handlebar Muffs for the Road Glide Ultra to extend my comfort range. $49
