Default Oem 2017 saddle

I don't like or use stock OEM saddles, I like the Corbin. However the wife loves the OEM Saddle on the new 17 Limited. My Salesman told us that Harley made the 2017 saddle better this year. I have to say it feel pretty good, but I only rode with it a short time. Before I drop another $250.00 on a HD Backrest, can someone tell me if the 2017 saddle has been upgraded a little ???

Thanks in advance for your thoughts. Ride Safe JIM

Salesmen...

It's the same seat as last year (Since 2014) pn: 52000033

That said, I have no issues with it. Not the best, but not bad. It is better than the older 2013 and below Ultra seats IMO.

I'm actually pretty surprised at how comfy the stock seat is and I bought the backrest today...we'll see how it goes.

Do you believe everything a salesman tells you?

Better than the older HD seats. But doesn't come even close to the comfort of my Mustang seat.

I had a ProPad installed in my stock seat. One of the smarter things I've done. The other was a gofundme account to send my ex wife to Iran ...........

For Rushmores and M8s regular Limiteds the OEM seats are pretty darn comfy. However, on my 2017 Limited Low the stock seat sucked! At least for me, but my wife loved it. Spend the bucks for a Hammock and I love it, but my wife hates it! They don't tell you this up front and it's something you would not even think about, but the passenger section of the Hammock is almost 2" shorter (front to back) than the OEM seat. This causes her tail bone to rest on the very end of the seat! She now rides with a pillow under her.
