Default Biketronics Purchase

Add me to the list of Biketronics purchasers. I just purchased the Road Glide package for my RGS. In transit now. I've been scanning the forums for install advice. Anyone with any advice prior to the install would be appreciated.

Incidentally, I am hoping to add lower fairings/speaker pods at a later date and was wondering, Can I run speaker wires with a quick connect and leave them convenient for the Lower fairings ? I'll try to post some photos of the process for a RGS if worthwhile...

You can connect the wires and drop them down below the radio and zip tie them up till you need them. Just make sure cab the wire ends.

Bunker has made a mod or two to his stereo system also.

I am of no assistance for a RG, but I can say a Biketronics system was very easy to install on my Limited.

I went with the Titan II Speakers, just due to the lifetime warranty. The instructions are on the Biketronics site and I've been pre reading. The install of the Amp was a concern. I see Biketronics states to insert the Amp into the opening first, then slip the support under it and add the bolts. There is a photo of an amp install on the forum, but it's on a SGS. It shows the relation of the BT355 to the amp. I'll try and take some pics through out the process...

Not Jim T but I used the flexible RCA cables recommended here and elsewhere. I'm not home but will post a link later.
