Default New owners stuck in winter weather

Great having a new M8 RK and I loved the 500 miles I got in before winter hit. Living in New Jersey makes it all but impossible to enjoy riding it right now (cold, road salt, brine etc) . Waiting for spring has NEVER been this torturous. A new reason to consider moving.

This is the third bike I have purchased in the month of December, this year has been the worst weather in memory. It really sucks, I got little over 300 miles on my bike and most of them were in the Rain. What a joy it was to Trash My new bike on day 1

Yep, consider moving, I bought mine on December 15th, I have over 1100 miles on the new one, put near 1000 on the older one in the same time period.

I've been working 6 days a week too or there'd be many more miles than that.

I moved away from the North in 1974, and trust me, I have never looked back!

Come on down!!

bought mine right when they came out..put 3000 miles on it in two months..3 months later I have 3300 miles..we've been clobbered by very uncharacteristic snow and ice storms one after another..longest any bike of mine has ever been on a battery tender

Got mine back in November and racked a grand total of 70 miles before the first snow hit. Took it to the dealer for a stage II back in December and haven't seen it since. I told them to just keep it for the winter.

However... I just arranged to have my bike trailered down to Bike Week. Hopefully the weather will cooperate while I'm there for 5 days.

Many of us that live in places like Wisconsin yearly put on as many or more miles than those that live in places with no winter.
Our bikes are safe and warm in their room. Went down this morning and put a thin coat of Zaino's on the M8. Just a reason to touch it and mess around some with the audio update 1.20.3.
Winter the ATV and snowmobiles come out, a different kind of riding.
