Default Fender tip lights

Has anyone tried to fit the fender tip lights from say, a '14-up Ultra onto the front and rear fenders of a '14-up Road King? I am not crazy about the newer style chrome front fender tip on the Kings, and am guessing that replacing it with the lighted tip won't be too difficult, but what about the rear? I am making a couple of assumptions, that the fenders are compatible and that the tail light wiring will accommodate the lighted tip. I'd like to do this if possible, for extra visibility and I just like the look of lighted fender tips better than plain.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Check on the right side near the nacelle switch and you will see a plug not plugged in. That plug puts out a small amount of voltage. That's your power to the fender tip light.

Oops you asked for the rear. Like you said it is somewhat tied to the rear brake light. A service manual with the schematic will show you

Thanks, that's what I was hoping on the wiring. Also for the rear hoping to use the lighted tip that's in the P&A book that has run/brake function - if it fits onto the fender.
