Dunno if you aimed that at me or the OP, you adressed both of us, but I know where fix my hog stuff is, I have their product for the last Harley I used to have, I got it before I knew about researching the how to videos. I never said it was on u-tube for free, I said you can find how to videos for free.

the problem with the free videos is any Tom, Dick, or Harry can put them up on Youtube and they dont have a reputation or business at stake if they miss a step or give wrong info. now, that may be just fine for something as simple changing tranny fluid, but not for replacing a drive belt.
I have the subscription from fixmyhog and for the amount of videos available, its well worth it. In a year, it amounts less than single morning coffee, once a week.

Someone had given me the softail/dyna videos as a gift and I like them a lot. I have an issue with a yearly subscription for these because in time you are paying more than buying the DVD's. Now if they had a lifetime subscription I would probably do that if it was reasonable since m odels and tech changes over time.

I know this is an old thread, but I've been recently bombarded with offers and discounts up to 80% off full price from Fix Your Hog to subscribe to their on-line videos for a year. I was interested, as watching someone step by step service or repair a bike is great (I learn visually quicker than reading), and it looked like a good service they were supplying. That was until I read the fine print on the page where you sign up that they require payment by credit card only, which is automatically renewed annually. Sorry, "homey don't play" that auto renewal scheme.
