Default Security Code Problem?

I have a 2011 FB lo when I went to start the bike the security lights flashed nothing came on (headlight, Accessory indicator lights etc,)
ENTER PIN flashed on so I entered code and all was good... till I went to start the bike again same thing happened, now I have to enter security code every time I start the bike...any ideas why?

Same thing happened to me this year even though I change them both every year...I was stuck on a trip and called a HD mechanic buddy and he told me it was the fob battery...I bet him 20 bucks he was wrong since the battery was not that old...He got my 20 bucks!!! He was right on, for some reason the battery went dead...LOL, lucky it was an easy fix...
That's ok, we bought beer with the 20...LOL. Ride safe.

I have never had a fob battery fail. The problem does sound like a dead battery is the issue. You always need to remember that code.

Get an extra and put it on the bike. I've had a couple die on me in just a few month. Probably because theyre made in china..
