Default Deuce sprocket compatibility

Does anyone know if a sprocket part number 40303-00 from a 2004 Deuce will fit a 2001 Deuce? I cant find a part number on the old one and the part number the seller is giving me doesn't show up on a search at the Harley site.

Yes, it'll work. Typically, the dash number (-00 in your '04 Deuce part) in a Harley part number represents the first year it was used, so your '04 part has actually been in use since the model yr. 2000 Deuces.
