Question Dyno tune question...

Recently had my 06 Fatboy with a fresh 98" build with cams and all the goodies to go with it. Also had a power commander III. The dyno guy which has a good reputation said you don't need the power commander for the dyno tune. Instead he made a custom map. Got great numbers and all. 110 H.P. 112 Torque. But I never heard anyone else on here or anywhere else ever speak about no fuel management when it comes to a dyno tune. Is this something new? Has anyone else heard about custom maps with no fuel management? Thanks for any replies...

Im guessing he uploaded the tune to your ECM. If thats the case and its running great, no need for anything else.
