Default Riding Curves

Last week I went on a ride from Western Washington into Idaho and Montana. The highlight was Lolo pass which is between Missoula, MT and Lewiston, ID. This has got to be one of the best motorcycle roads I have ever ridden.
Perfect weather for all 1200 + miles, other than a little smoke from all the forest fires in this area over the last several months. Some fires will not be out until it snows.

very nice . wish I had some decent roads around here. I live in the flat lands and the scenery is pot holes.

Did that back in 13. It was a great ride although as soon as you got into Montana they were repaving the road for about 20 miles which kind of sucked.
This was in LoLo pass still in Idaho.

You can't hardly beat Idaho, Utah and northern Arizona for the roads and Scenery.

Washington State and Oregon were really nice too. Nice and cool on the coast in July as well.

That sounds like an awesome ride...great memories too.

I recently went home on leave to San Diego. My brother and I drove our families up in his RV to Wyoming for a big family reunion. Some of the roads on the way up through Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, and Yellowstone were truly amazing. All I could think about was damn I wish I had my bike.
We both agreed that we are going to do a road trip on our bikes back up through there after I retire and get back stateside.

Do it. It's one of the best rides you'll ever take. Everything you see could be a painting. Just finished a 5400 mile trip in August doing just that..
