I would like to see one in person to see how easy it would be to widen. You can find them new on eBay for $170. If you could ever find a used one for $50 it might be worth picking up to see if it can be made to work.

This one kinda reminds me of the metal box swingarm project.

In the end, it could be done. But never really seemed safe.

I don't know, brother. I'm sure you'll prove me wrong. But other than the wow factor, is it worth all the trouble?

i know prob 20 guys that run these on their baggers, 30"- stock 16" wheels. bike is solid as a rock, some of them are even drive off set ups. it is much more solid than a stock kick stand for sure

Thanks for the info guys. I'm going to research a little more on these fold up center stands to get some measurements. At the end of the day, I think this will be a custom job to really make it work and achieve the look that I want.
Sure appreciate everyone's input...it definitely helps with exploring other options and ideas.

No updates yet...in fact this idea has fallen to the wayside for a couple of weeks. I've mocked up a couple of designs but the shotgunshock makes it difficult to mount and fold. I'm also having issue with figuring out a way to secure it while it's up and ensuring it locks in place when it's down. I need to be more innovative but I find myself scratching my head a lot while staring at my plans.

Met a guy in Daytona while in daytona. He had a road glide and had to squares welded to the bottom of the frame. Bike had air up front and on the back. No kickstand. You had to bleed both front and back to get the bike to stand up by itself. Looked bad *** just sitting there next to all the other bikes. I have a pic on my old phone. I'll try to get it posted.

Cool idea, until you have to have to park on a slope and can't lean into it for stability.

Im working on mine right now. Have shotgun rear and using air pistons for the front from Misfit Industries. Front should lay no problem from what ive measured, but the rear is gonna be close. I have a low profile rear tire on its way and once that's on ill see how far away i am from the frame. Has anyone removed the bump stop? Curious if you get any lower without it. I have a machinist friend making me some standoffs to go on the bottom of the frame since the shotgun hangs a little bit lower than the frame. Ill post pics once i tear into it this week or next
