After reading many reviews and tired of cooking the "boys" my gf ordered me one for my birthday. I am so happy with captain itch! It is quality leather with quality workmanship! I wished I would've bought this a long time ago. . . As others have said, best bang for the buck.

I hate to sound stupid, but what the heck is this thing ? I've never heard of it and can't imagine how or what it looks like installed? Anyone have a pic of this on their bike ?

It's a leather wrap that hangs down on the sides of the bike to deflect heat from your thighs.

You can see mine just forward of the oil tank in my signature pic.
The left side doesn't hang down as far as the right.

I take mine off in the winter when the heat is welcomed, but from April to November I don't ride without it.

Mine is not from Capt. Itch, but you can get the idea anyway.
All things what they are today, I wish I'd got mine from the Capt.
Mine is not the quality that the Capt.'s is.

Just curious if these things interfere with sufficient cooling of the rear cylinder.

Have one on Wife's Deluxe and on my Heritage for well over a year. Both from the Captain. No cooling issues here in the South.

ah, nice, never saw them before but sure look like a good idea, especially for Summer riding.
