Default Breakout with a cafe racer headlight fairing

I picked up a Sportster cafe racer headlight fairing for dirt cheap. I was curious to see if I could fabricate a bracket to mount it on the Breakout since it's designed for the same size 5 3/4" inch headlight. I managed to pull it off pretty easily with the two main mounting brackets mounted to the bottom of the riser bolts with some creativity.

Not sure if I'm sold on the look and will take it off to paint it gloss black then see if it looks any better. Thoughts?

This was just a cheap experiment to see what it would look like...this is what happens when you have 2 weeks off of work and get bored haha.

i like it but I always kind of like that look. The issue would be buffeting!

I was thinking the same thing. I haven't ridden it yet and still need to see how well it holds up in some turbulence. There's one more bracket that I need to make which will mount from the bottom headlight bolt to inside of the bottom of the fairing, it'll hide and tuck just fine.

I love it. Looks really good and natural on the Breakout. Well done.

After seeing the title I was prepared for the worst, but that actually looks fairly decent...

I think all of those small headlight fairings on HDs are hideous. I absolutely hate the Thug/Club/SOA look a like Dyna thread because they all have it. But the beauty about the land of the free is that you own the bike so you don't have to care what I think.

I don't really like it. It seems too narrow for the Breakout forks. I do like the idea, just not that particular fairing.

Looks horrible. You got a sweet *** bike and that just ruins it.
