Default Winter Project ideas

This winter I plan to finish Deluxe clone on my fatboy.
Plans are stretched rear fender, stretched tank, and deluxe front fender. Not sure what color I want, may just stick with pearl white. Picking a color is driving me insane.
I'm debating stretched saddle bags now. With speakers and an ipod in the dash. I'm just not sure though. If I'm getting stuff painted Im think I might as well do bags at the same time. However I'm not sure. What do yall think? Bags or no bags?any other ideass?

The only thing I can do is nitpick, because your bike looks great as is. One thing that sticks out though (to me) is the front fender.. It doesn't seem to flow with the rest of your bike, especially if you're going to stretch the rear fender. I'd put a bigger front fender on. I think a cool touch would be to paint the visor on your headlight to match your bike. A small detail that would look really cool. Other than that, great looking bike even if you do nothing.

Id definitely paint the headlight visor. And I would do the bags at the same time as the fenders. No sense at all in waiting.

Bike sounds nice.

I've been toying with an idea that might interest you. Instead of painting the tins, Plasti-Dip them. Change the color without destroying the original paint. The company "Dip Your Car" has developed a new color, Dark Gray that interest me.

I'd skip the Deluxe front fender and go with a different custom fender to match the stretched rear fender you're getting. Why put so much effort into customizing a bike, only to have it switch from one factory Harley to another factory Harley. Go with something aftermarket and different.

As far as painting the visor goes, I think that would look kinda goofy. I would paint the headlight housing and leave a chrome trim ring. If it were my bike, I'd ditch the visor to cleanup the look more.

I'm thinking of going to vivid black. Will save me money on the stretched hard bags and allow me to tear in to the engine. Plus the black and chrome Viclas are classic.

I like the white and I would do the motor instead of the bags. With the speakers behind you, you wouldnt get the full effect of your system while at speed. So my vote is motor and stay with the white.
