Yeah they are pretty wide, but I like em. Not awkward at all if you've ridden on apes before. Definitely different from the low stock bars. You will get used to it after a few quick rides.

Those are 1.25 right. So the 1.5's are wider than that

Yes 1.25. I believe the 1.5s are a tad higher and wider and you will also have to change the risers. Those things aint cheap.

oh yeah I see that... an extra 2 bills... hmmm so then I am thinking if I did 1.5 I would be better off going with 14's cause they would actually be 15" or so...

I was in the exact same boat as you a few months back on this decision. The thick 1.5's look dope no doubt. I just couldnt justify the price of the risers after I paid premium for the bars. Plus I have a chrome cover over the stock risers that match my nacelle. If you stick with the 1.25" dia bars, go with the 16's. You wont regret it.

Thanks man... I love neotraditional and new school art... tattooing can be fun but a lot of days it just feels like work cause you do a bunch of stuff you have no interest in lol....
