Default local Indy surprise

My motorcycle had gradually started to pop when letting off throttle..
My locall Indy is great and thought it was gonna be manifold seals/rubber rings?
After checking for couple minutes, plugs were bad and changed em..
he rode bike to test and said what a sweet ride I had..charged such a small amount I asked it'd that really sounded right...

Found out he does winter storage as well..so I'm set there too.

Great shop in Olathe

Good find!! An experienced and honest indy hd mechanic is like gold. I have one out my way and he has saved me thousands!!!!!!!!! and the work is COMPLETE!!! and done CORRECTLY!!!! and he stands behind his work...
I care and feed my indy also...he's so inexpensive, I always tip him well and I bring the beer...
I broke down on a sunday one time and he went and opened the shop so we could drop the bike off, he insisted...try getting caring service like that at some places...
Ride safe.

Hey amkaos, name that shop.
I think there should be a thread naming all of the great Independent shops.

Never considered the fact that plugs could cause the deceleration popping. My bike has been doing it for a while and seems to be doing it more. I'm sure the plugs have 50K on them. I'll pick up a set the next time I'm at HD and see what happens..

Well picked up a set of plugs and stuck them in. To my surprise it cut out about 80-90% of the deceleration popping and what remains is very mild. Who'd a thunk it..
