Hand me down Heritage Springer

Cool story. Is that your new favorite Aunt? Check the tire dates on those tires. Change them if they are over 6 years old.

Thanks for the correction on the name, I was under the assumption this was called a Heritage springer classic. I will remember that from now on.
My last bike was an old 72 ironhead barhopper.
I plan on heading over to the dealership for new rubber when I get there.
First bit of parts are coming in, I'm replacing the rear fender. She's wanting to do a small memorial shadow of thing with the fender that has his Marine unit and Vietnam dates on it.
As well as wild1 16" chubbys.

My 1st thought was God bless your Uncle..
my 2nd thought was I hope you don't change the bike toooo much.. he loved it the way you got it and It'd be an Honor to keep it as much as you can the way he left it for you as possible.
ONly thing I see in the pic is get some PaPa bag insert to make the bags stand upright
Other than that If it was passed to me, I'd just clean it up and leave it alone to HONOR him...
Safe riding and Good luck....
