Wait is over, traded RK for a Slim.
I supposedly had a good deal lined up with my local dealer. I went there the day returning from Asscrackistan. But sales manager was gone and the guy filling in had way different numbers that he would not budge off of.
They did not have a charcoal satin Slim but they had a black one, after a few minutes I was happy to get the black. But that was before the different sales manager messed up the deal.
I knew Macon Harley Davidson had a charcoal Slim so I called them up and said is it possible we can stick with the deal we talked about on email or should I anticipate something different if I drove up. Sales manager said if my trade was in as good as shape as I said to bring it.
So I drove 180 miles in a rainstorm to get the Slim
When I got there he looked at my bike for about one minute. I went inside as soon as I saw the charcoal Slim it was love at first sight.
Sales manager then came over and told one of the service guys "get this bike ready he's buying it"
He did not even mention any numbers he stuck with what he said in the email.
It was the best buying experience ever for me and I have owned a lot of vehicles.
Parts guy hooked me up with everything I needed for the stage-1 and is sending everything to my house.
So my first ride on the bike was 180 miles back in a more severe rainstorm. No windshield or fullface.
I'm out-of-state for a few more days but when I get back I will install the black big boss exhaust, DK 587 intake along with the FP-3.
Pics to follow. Man I love this bike!

So far way different. I can straddle the bike and push
it around really easily. So thats new. I am 5 foot eight. Pushing the RK around has not been difficult but the Slim is easy.
Ride intown is nice, no low rpm vibration getting on my nerves.
It's gets up plenty compared to the RK.
I am really liking the B motor. Even enjoying the quiet exhaust a bit. But that will change with the Vance and Hines Big Boss exhaust. Vroom Vroom!
So far it feels perfect. Nimble, smooth plenty power.
