i have a set of river road bags with a set of easy brackets to make them quick detachable. they are great! plenty of room. and the rear guards do not rub against the bags at all. there is about 1/2" of space between the two.

and yes. the bottom mount for the guards is mounted with the rear passenger peg mount.

Can you give us #'s on the rear guards and that seat rail? Are they moco parts?

Absolutely gorgeous bike, and excellent photography. It's really nice seeing pics like this, especially this time of year when mine is stuck in the garage behind the snowblower. Reminds me why I fell in love with the Deluxe.

Thanks for the momentary reprieve from my PMS symptoms...

here is the seat rail i got.

and then the part number for the rear guards is 49258-00A from hd.

the seat rail is a knock off, but i have not seen an issue with quality at all.
