Quiet this weekend.
Waiting on some parts inbound, to put on, and some to try a slightly different air cleaner setup.
Attached is a picture of my powder coated console, dash, ring , and switch.
Blue leds being installed with a red needle, then it should go out Tuesday back to me.

Today I decided to put the battery in and do an electrical test.
I set the FOB on the bike, so it would be in range and turned on the key.

The blue LED instrument lighting Powder Pro did while they where doing the console, console ring, and ignition switch in satin black, came out perfect.
I am pleased with the effect.

Then, I tried my turn signals. no action there. Not sure why. I tried in the ignition on mode, but of course, can not start the bike without the exhaust on. Does the engine have to be running? I thought maybe I blew it on wiring everything together. But on moving the bike, the right-left flashing of the turn signal security system worked as before when it was stock.
When trying the brake at the foot, brakes do not come on at all. I do have the front brake lever off. There is a button up there that the lever either pushes or releases with activation. When I press the button, the tail lights (all three through a badlands module), goes dim, or running. When I let go of the button, I get brake lights on.
I bet most of this is because the bike is not all the way back together, yes?
In the lower part of one of the pictures you will see and aftermarket black cone air filter laying on the floor. It will not go back on. I found the elbow is a casting, and in the middle of the bend going to the injection, nearly half of it is a straight 90 flat, blocking a significant amount of air.
Screaming Eagle heavy breathers route the crankcase ventilation back into the engine. But I did like the Wimmer copies that were hanging on the aftermarket setup, that vented externally.
DK has a nice set up, that has external vents. But I wanted a little something on the filter, and liked the Screaming Eagle covers.
I found I can have both. So, again, waiting on parts.
Ginz is working on a bracket for the Hell bent bar to the OEM king/queen seat. I ordered a 36 inch, which is causing minor fitment issues. But Ginz's service is taking excellent care. That should be solved soon also.
So, waiting on parts..

I heard a rumor that Jack has a new reality TV show next month. It's called The Real Bears vs Gators Survivor Build-off. I'm already sick of winter. I wonder if I can freeze myself in a snow bank until spring?

I apologize in advance if this is a stupid question. New to Harleys. What is the purpose of a tank lift? Is there a functional benefit in doing it or is it purely for looks?
