Take it to a custom upholsterer and get exactly what you want. I did and it was one of the best things I did and the cost was the same. You get the shape and design you want, padding and cover and colors.

I know you said no bags,, but just to show you can mod your pillion seat.

(Over Look the fringe,, If you don't like the bags, I know you won't like the fringe)
Also I'll add that in my 49 yrs of riding that front stock Heritage seat is the most comfortable seat of any of the bikes I've owned or the 3 custom seats I've had made...

This is just to show you that you can do a lot with that Stock Pillion..

But ~~ When I ride SOLO I wanted a different look. So having bought the wife the bigger pillion seat I took the Stock pillion seat and cut it narrower and made it higher for more back support for me. It ended up Freaking great on trips and long daily rides..

Myself, I love the look of the bags and need them all the time so I had the Solo seat studded to match the bags..

Also remember the flatness of some seats won't give your back any support.
I tried just a fender bib before I made this one and every time I'd get on it I felt like I was sliding off the back of the bike... Not good...

First thing I did was dump mine and get a deluxe seat. Still pretty comfy, and a helluva lot nicer looking. I still use it when I'm not sporting the LePara.
