Default Slim 2:1 sytem options...

I'm liking the ceramic Supermegg from Supertrapp. Part# 827-71690
Mine slim's a 2014 model and wondered if anyone's seen them on this bike?

I've read that these can hit a really low decible. Why they're my first choice.

Fuel Moto is also a consideration... For similar reasons.

Not in a huge rush to get the stock pipes off yet, especially with winter coming, but I really would love to hear from what our HOG Slim community thinks.
Thanks!

For what it's worth, I have the V&H Pro Pipe on mine and love it.

So there is a performance boost when switching from a 2-2 to a 2-1 right? Due to having more back-end pressure?

If so, do you see this boost in the low end or high end?

Not a Slim, but I did a bassani road rage 2 into 1 on my deluxe. Big difference from the stock duals at the low and midrange for me. Top end not so much from what I could tell.

I' e read the biggest gains in the low to mid are achieved most from the longest header possible. Opposite for top end gains ie; dragsters.

Better low end tourke is byproduct achieved from a stronger bottom end, which in turn will make for a smoother low speed manuvering

V&h pro pipe on my black slim. Great pipe, quiet when just riding. Twist the grip it gets this great low rumble. Love it.

Nice lookin system. Do the headers interfere with passengers foot pegs and sit high enough so I can get a jack under the frame with no issues?
Love the black. Thanks!

Supertrapp Supermeg is a great performing pipe and you can adjust the sound to suit you. A really good compromise between sound and performance is to run an open end cap and 8 disks. From this statement "I've read that these can hit a really low decible" I assume you want a quieter pipe. If that is the case most of the pipes other than the Supertrapp are pretty damn loud.
