I ride as long as there is no ice or salt on the roads.
I'm planning to put my Heritage away probably in a month or so.

40F and that would be pushing it ! Get old, it tends to hurt a tad more and more each year.

Well, I drove 400+ miles to look at a panhead a few years ago and when I got to my destination in Colorado it was 18 below zero. Bike was in a warm garage and the owner started it and commented don't suppose you want to ride it. Hell yes and went for a 5 mile cruise. Worst icecreme headache I've ever had and that was through two stocking hats. Bought the bike by the way.

If my teeth chattering is drowning out my valve noise I park.

If its above 25 I'll ride, though I prefer not to. I've ridden in much colder. I prefer riding when it's 40 or above..

I've ridden to work at 25 degs 10 miles and wouldn't you know it I couldn't buy a red light to warm up, but after work it was in the 50's. My buddy said that if you need gloves its to cold!

It depends on either duration of the ride and clothing I wear. Also makes a difference if it's sunny or cloudy. With my current warmest gear I feel comfortable for a 2 hrs ride at 50 °F. Have done 44 °F one day for 1 1/2 hrs...couldn't enjoy the last 30 minutes.

Bike went into winter storage today...back in saddle again in March...

I ride in the fall in the teens and twenty's. As long as there is no ice on the road, I will ride.

Going 70 miles to Dallas in January and it was 30°, with no heated gear is my lowest.
