Not strange, when you release air the opposite tank, it lowers. Or when there's no air in either tank, and you jack the bike off the ground like Dan said he did, the swing arm will freely move either way. So the release valve sounds to be releasing air from both tanks

Waiting for parts apparently

Spewin too, weather today was an awesome day to ride...

With my exhaust I don't think I'd make to St Andrews,
