Default 2014 Stage 4 with Woods TW 5-6 Cam +

Hello, I just set up an appointment to have the shop install Screamin' Eagle 103 ci Street Performance Stage 4 Kit-92500011 with a Woods TW-5-6 Cam, and the Screamin' Eagle Chisel Extreme Billet Air Cleaner Kit. I have already installed a Python Throwback Exhaust. The total price out the door including the Dyno Tuning is $4147.

My questions are: 1. Does this sound like a reasonable price (HD doint the work). And 2. What kind of numbers are people seeing out of this or similar setup? The shop tells me anywhere from 112HP-120HP and a bit over 120 torque.

Any advice or comments are welcome.

Thanks in advance!

Agreed Cdonis, but a guy has to have his toys right? I just hope I am happy with the performance.

I'm just going to be honest, so apologies for seeming rude.

the HD Stage IV isn't a true stage IV.. just be clear on that.. they call it a Stage IV, but there's no turbo or nitrous or whatever, so it's not a Stage IV, it's a Stage III at best.. and that's an obnoxious amount of money. That's $2000 more than I paid for my Fuel Moto 107" with the heads and compression releases, and I make about the same amount of power/torque.

I don't know your level of mechanical expertise, for me I know my clockwise from my counter clockwise and I was able to build the engine myself, step-by-step, in about 10 hours.

But, like Cdonis said..if you're happy with it, then I'm happy for you and just remember to keep the rubber side down

Money wise having a Harley shop do that is about avg. for everything you are doing. You should be very happy when its all done I believe.

So in order to be a true stage IV, an H-D motor requires forced induction or nitrous?

At the end of the day you could always do more with the money you will spend at the stealership. The most important part is that you are happy with your purchase, and feel as though you got your money's worth out of the deal.

Congrats bro more power = more smiles

Talk to Fuel Moto about your choices. For $4000 I'd think you could do much better with after market cylinders, pistons, heads, cams etc.

Thanks for the response everybody. And yep I know I am paying more going through Harley. But it's the convenience too since they will come pick up and deliver from 40 miles away. I had thought of fuel moto but that would require me getting the bike to and from Wisconsin in the winter. It was a tough choice.
